Product Description:
Vinylpyrrolidone is white or creamy white, free-flowing power with characteristic smell, hygroscopic, good solubility in water, alcohol and other organic solvents.
VP/VA Copolymers with different rations of N-Vinylpyrrolidone to Vinyl Acetate, soluble in most organic solvents, which exists in powder, water solution and ethnol solution form.
VP/VA compolymer forms hard, water-removable and glossy films, it has excellent compatibility with many plasticizers and modifiers, and the hydroscopicity decreases in proportion to the ration of Vinyl acetate.
Application Area:
Pharma grade
In view of its excellent adhesiveness,film hard and other properties,Copovidone is mainly used as water-soluble binder and dry binder in wet/direct granulation process. It can also be used as film forming materials.
Cosmetic grade
VP/VA Copolymers are the excellent choice as film forming agent and hair-styling agent,which are suitable for formulations which used as film forming and viscosity modification,especially in hair styling products, such as Hair Gels,Aerosol gas sprays,Wet look sprays.
