Product Description:
As the lightest solid in the world, aerogel is a porous solid material whose dispersion medium is gas. The density of this new material is only 3.55kg/m3, which is only 2.75 times the density of air. The porosity is as high as 80-99.8%, the typical pore size is 1-100nm, and the specific surface area (SSA) is 200-1000m2/g.
Aerogels are sometimes called "solid smoke" or "frozen smoke" because of their translucent color and ultra-light weight. This new material looks fragile, but it is actually very durable and can withstand temperatures up to 1400°C. High porosity, high transmittance, low thermal conductivity and low density are its typical characteristics, which can be developed into many application products, and derivative products have been widely used in many fields. It can be filled directly or made into thermal insulation felt, board, block, paint and adsorbent.
