Product Description:
Griseofulvin is an antibiotics which is extracted from the cultivation of the fermented liquid of the Penicilli - um griseofulvum. White or almost white powder; melting point : 218-224°C; Soluble in tetrachloroethane, soluble in acetone and chloroform, slightly soluble in methanol or ethanol, very slightly soluble in water. Odourless or almost odourless, taste bitter, on the thermal stability.

Function:
1) Griseofulvin is an antifungal drug that is administered orally. It is used both in animals and in humans, to treat fungal infections of the skin (commonly known as ringworm) and nails;
2) Potential for cancer treatment;
3) Griseofulvin is used orally only for dermatophytosis.
