Product Description:
Tert-Butyl hydroquinoe( TBHQ ) is a kind of oil-soluble antioxidants that can prevent or delay in food oil oxidation deterioration. As a food additive, TBHQ has been used in more than 20 countries such as America, in our country in 1992 approved for use in oil and greasy food, dried fish products, biscuits, instant noodles, containing fat canned food, preserved meat products, etc. TBHQ in food maximum allowable dose of 200 mg/kg. American regulates that TBHQ is used alone or combined with BHA and butylated hydroxytoluene distribution when using grease content below 0.02%. Its antioxidant effects of oils and fats, along with the increase of the concentration, the BHA, butylated hydroxytoluene and PG are all well.
Function:
1. The antioxidant effect of this product is very ideal, stronger than BHA, butylated hydroxytoluene, PG 5 ~ 7 times. It is suitable for plant and animal fats and rich fat food, especially suitable for vegetable oil, salad oil, blend oil, high cooking oil is the preferred antioxidants. It also can effectively delay the fat oxidation, improve the stability of food to significantly extend the shelf life of grease and fat rich food.
2.It has high temperature resistant, it can be used for instant noodles, cake and other fried foods, the highest temperature can reach 230 ºC above.
3. A dose of pluripotent,it can effectively inhibit the growth of bacteria and mold. In the range of add application, it can inhibit the growth of almost all bacteria and yeast, it has a good inhibitory effect on aflatoxin endanger human body health.
Application Aera:
TBHQ is a highly effective antioxidant. In foods, it is used as a preservative for unsaturated vegetable oils and many edible animal fats. Edible oils and fats, Fried food, dried fish products,
biscuits, instant noodles, instant rice, canned fruit, preserved meat. It does not cause discoloration even in the presence of iron, and does not change flavor or odor of the material to which it is added. It can be combined with other preservatives such as butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA). As a food additive, its E number is E319. It is added to a wide range of foods, with the highest limit (0.2 gram/kg) permitted for frozen fish and fish products. Its primary advantage is extending storage life.
It is used industrially as a stabilizer to inhibit autopolymerization of organic peroxides. It is also used as a corrosion inhibitor in biodiesel. In perfumery, it is used as a fixative to lower the evaporation rate and improve stability. It is also added to varnishes, lacquers, resins, and oil-field additives.
