Tea tree oil, or melaleuca oil, is an essential oil with a fresh camphoraceous odor and a color that ranges from pale yellow to nearly colorless and clear.  Tea Tree oil is one of the most used essential oils and there are many who have been benefited by Tea Tree oil's wonderful healing properties. Extracted from the leaves and twigs by the process of steam distillation, Tea Tree Oil has a light, spicy and rather pungent smell.
