Polyanionic cellulose, abbreviated as PAC, is a water-soluble cellulose ether derivative prepared by chemical modification of natural cellulose. Polyanionic cellulose is white or yellowish powder, non-toxic and odorless.It is a cellulose derivative manufactured through chemical synthesis, available as Cream white free flowing powder. The mud fluid prepared with this product has good water loss, inhibition and high temperature resistance. It is an important water-soluble cellulose ether.
