Carbomer 981/ Carbopol 981 is a crosslinked polyacrylate polymer.
Its characteristics are similar to NM-Carbomer 941, with long rheology, low viscosity, high transparency, and good suspension stability, but its polymerization solvent system is ethyl acetate and cyclohexane.
