Description:
Astilbin is extracted from the leaf of engelhardtia roxburghiana. It is a flavonoid phytochemical with antibacterial activity, which may be used to study its pharmacology and the effects of its antiproliferative activities versus a variety of cell types. It shows in vitro antibacterial activity and activity on burn wound healing. Astilbin suppresses collagen-induced arthritis via the dysfunction of lymphocytes. It also has strong effects on diuretic and analgesic.
